Arrive by air

In addition to seasonal direct flights to Kalamata International Airport (KLX) from select destinations abroad, daily flights from Athens to Kalamata are operating as of April 14th for the 2011 season.

Aegean Airlines, the largest airline in Greece and member of the Star Alliance network, offers daily flights between Athens and Kalamata at times providing convenient connections to guests arriving from, and departing to, major European hubs.                  No excess baggage is charged for the transportation of golf equipment (1 golf bag including golf clubs, balls and 1 pair of golf shoes) in all domestic and international flights, even if it is exceeding the free baggage allowance.

Aegean Airlines also offers twice-weekly direct flights from Munich to Kalamata Airport, three times per week between Thessaloniki and Kalamata and one flight per week from Moscow.

Sky Express currently operates year-round domestic flights connecting Kalamata with Heraklion in Crete.

During the 2011 season, Thomas Cook and Tor Air operate seasonal direct flights to Kalamata from the United Kingdom (London and Manchester), while SAS operates flights to Kalamata from Oslo, Transavia from Amsterdam as well as Smartwings from Prague.

Air Berlin is flying directly to Kalamata from Nuremberg, at times allowing for convenient connections with feeder flights from Hamburg, Berlin, Dusseldorf and Vienna.

Visitors traveling by air from most European destinations should be able to check their luggage from their airport of departure all the way through to Kalamata, irrespective of any connecting flights, by simply specifying the airport code of their final destination (KLX).

A private helipad on-site also makes Costa Navarino directly accessible by air.
